The Concourse at Comcast Center is adding to its list of  gourmet-on-the-go eateries with two brand new additions – Karma Indian Cuisine and The Juice Pod – alongside the return of STARR Restaurants’ Café Click to the Comcast Center Plaza. Karma, hailing from the same ownership as Karma Restaurant in Old City, is now open for fast casual, on-the-go-style authentic Indian cuisine. Additionally, The Juice Pod officially opens its first franchise location in Philadelphia this week, offering an assortment of healthy bowls, salads, juices, smoothies, and more.

Outdoors on the Comcast Center Plaza, Café Click will return with its signature Parisian-inspired fare on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023.

New Opening: Karma Indian Cuisine
At Karma, diners can expect the eatery’s signature high-quality and authentic Indian cuisine in a quick service on-the-go format. Menu highlights include traditional Indian dishes such as Butter Chicken, Biryani rice dishes, Chicken Tikka Masala, an assortment of curries, soups, salads,  kababs, and more. Karma opened for lunch service now, with plans to roll out traditional Indian breakfast offerings in the coming weeks.

“We’re excited to be expanding the Karma brand and joining the Comcast Center Campus with  this new location,” says Bobby Abraham, owner of Karma Indian Cuisine. “As a Philadelphia based restaurant owner, it’s an honor to be engaging in this partnership with Comcast to bring our authentic Indian cuisine to the heart of Philly’s business district. We look forward to continuing  to serve the regular clientele we amassed throughout our 20+ years in business, as well as a new  set of customers.”

New Opening: The Juice Pod
Also coming to The Concourse at Comcast Center is the raw juice, smoothie and organic food franchise, The Juice Pod. The Comcast Center Campus location marks The Juice Pod’s first entry into the city of Philadelphia. 13 additional locations can be found throughout South Jersey,  Chester County, Montgomery County, and Delaware County. Menu offerings at The Juice Pod include a variety of salads and wraps, green & grain bowls, wellness shots, an assortment of  toasts, cold pressed juices, smoothies, coffee, and more.

“I fell in love with The Juice Pod during summers down the shore with my family,” says Stacy Master, owner of The Juice Pod at The Concourse at Comcast Center. “The food, the vibe, and the people are unmatched. I am so excited to bring Philly its first Juice Pod this spring.”

Karma is open Monday to Friday from 10:00a to 4:00p, and The Juice Pod is open 8:00a to 4:00p.

Reopening: Café Click
Philadelphia acclaimed restaurateur Stephen Starr is bringing back Café Click, the greenery-framed seasonal outdoor café at Comcast Center Plaza, with its French-accented all-day menu of “afternoon in-Paris” fare. Café Click will reopen for its 2nd season on May 9th for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday from 11:00a-8:00p through October 2023.

Diners can expect the Café’s signature salads, hors d’oeuvres and artisanal cheeses alongside sandwiches, pizzettes, quiche and crêpes. As the café transitions into the evening, diners can  enjoy low proof Aperitif-style cocktails or wines by the glass. New menu items this year include  the Lobster Cobb (Parisian ham, Fourme d’Ambert) and Truffled White Pizzette (burrata, honey,  pecorino). End the meal on a sweet note with a selection of pastries made in-house, including Chocolate Mousse, Tarte au Citron, and Crème Brûlée.

“We were thrilled that Café Click’s debut season was so well received last year, so we are excited  to be returning to the Comcast Center Plaza again,” says Stephen Starr, founder of STARR  Restaurants. “Café Click is the quintessential place to grab lunch over coffee with colleagues,  catch up over a cocktail with friends, or simply unwind solo. The food is light and fresh, and the  atmosphere is inviting and pleasant, offering a relaxing oasis tucked away from the daily grind  and hustle of the city.”

Lunch-goers can enjoy live music at Café Click every Wednesday throughout the season from 11:30a – 2:00p, with a special performance on opening day (May 5th) from 4:30p-7p.

Reservations for the 138-seat café will be available via Resy. In true café form, walk-ins are not only welcome, but encouraged.
