Gaul & Co. Malt House is hosting the annual Port Richmond Pierogi Festival on Saturday, May 13 from 12 – 6pm. Held in partnership with State Street Events LLC, the festivities will include a variety of both traditional and out-of-the-box pierogies from more than twenty food vendors, in addition to 100+ crafters and artists, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and more.
The much-loved Port Richmond Pierogi Festival celebrates the predominantly Polish community in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia, and has been a massive hit with locals and visitors since its inaugural festival in 2019. The indoor and al fresco event will include a plethora of local makers and artisans including local laser-cut crafter Dan Does That (@dan_does_that), sunglass purveyor Shady Sunglasses (@shadysunglassdeals), and the Art History 101 Mobile Truck, among many others. Live music performances include Ryan Beirderman, Ray Palmer, The Polka Band, and the Polish American String Band. As the festival is an all ages event, a kid’s area will be set up with carnival games, sand art, face painting, dart throwing, and a fun house.
In addition to a bevy of food and beverage offerings available at Gaul & Co. Malt House Port Richmond, participating food vendors boasting unique and classic takes on the Polish dumpling include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Donna’s Bar
- La Roma
- Pat’s Polish Deli

- Czwer’s Kielbasy
- The Little Sicilian Riceballs
