The vibrant and artistic Kensington neighborhood is gearing up for its annual Made on American Street Festival, kicks-off Saturday, May 20th. The festival will take place on the newly renovated American St in Kensington! The festival promises to be a day of celebration, creativity, food, drink and inspiration, showcasing the best of Philadelphia’s artistic community.
From 2pm to 6pm with a VIP start time of 1pm, American Street will come alive with the sounds of live music, the smells of delicious food, and the sights of incredible local vendors. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the neighborhood’s small businesses and creative studios, and to connect with the makers who call Kensington home. You will only need tickets to access the alcohol, otherwise people are free to walk through the festival!
Originally started by The Philly Homebrew Club, The Made on American Street Festival was created to experience the rich cultural history of Philadelphia, and to celebrate the city’s vibrant beer and arts community. With something for everyone, the festival offers a unique opportunity to discover new artists, connect with local businesses, and experience the creative energy of Kensington.

Kensington is such a creative and dynamic neighborhood, and this event is a wonderful way to showcase just that!” “There’s remnants of the old breweries of Philadelphia’s past that come full circle with the bustling brewery scene in the area now.”
