Additionally, Ramona Susan’s will celebrate Cinco on Friday with a special Tequila Lime Curd Cupcake and their famous Margarita Mixers (classic, guava, passionfruit). The May themed fun continued next week with Mother’s Day Mom cakes, Mother’s Day cookie kits, lemon curd cheesecake, gluten free cherry cheesecake and other pretty in pink and springtime creations to show Mom just how sweet she is. Ramona Susan’s Bake Shop has been serving up nostalgic treats since 2015. The bakery is a partnership between Betty Halpenny and Elly Koenig. The idea and branding was inspired by Betty’s mom Mona (Ramona) Susan. The idea behind the bake shop is simple: Create all scratch desserts on-site with a focus on flavor and quality. They aim to be a destination for today’s Mom’s and Dad’s – that long for their mother’s made-with-love desserts and who want their kids to have that experience, but who just don’t have the time. Each dessert takes a pinch of the duo’s childhood favorites and a dash of Ramon Susan’s essence, and they mix them together with 30 years of commercial baking experience. They want each dessert to be delicious without the fuss – no 18 ingredient recipes here. Instead, a focus on the simpler classics and a celebration of those long-ago simpler times. The bake shop features cookies, cakes, cheesecakes, puddings, brownies, cupcakes and more. The duo specialize in the holidays and they love to show off their creativity with theme treats. The bakery is also known as a premiere destination in the region for vegan and gluten free treats and baked goods.
For May, look for not one, not two, but three sets of special menus to celebrate all the spring holidays- starting with May the 4th, followed by Cinco de Mayo and then of course, the holiest holiday of them all – Mother’s Day!

* Baby Yoda’s Cupcakes frosted in vanilla buttercream, available in up to two flavors from: vanilla, birthday, chocolate, red velvet, gluten free vanilla and gluten free chocolate. ($60 dozen)
* Galactic Brownies with rich fudgy frosting and rainbow sprinkles. ($3.50)
* Galactic Giant Cookies with chocolate chip M&M cookie dough frosted to look like the galactic skies – customizable as well.
* Galaxy Cake decorated into a galaxy far far away – they can even add your own favorite constellation onto the cake! Not available in vegan or cream cheese frosted, only vanilla buttercream. Available in several cake options.
Dunkaroos, Jabba Marshmallows and Baby Yoda cupcakes will be available for limited supply in the bakeshops, first come first served. But order ahead if you want to guarantee your treats. The Galaxy Cake and Galactic Giant Cookies require pre-order – and are available starting May the 4th through the rest of May.

Classic Homemade Margarita Mix – Our fresh squeeze juice with a touch of orange, sugar and salt. Add liquor to the marked line and shake for 5-8 strong beverages. The mix can also be made frozen with a blender or ice cream machine or served with seltzer for a mocktail. Betty is a lightweight and adds water to hers. (Alcohol not included) ($24.99)

Gluten Free Cherry Cheesecake – Homemade cherry pie filling on top of plain cheesecake with homemade gluten free (you cant tell) graham cracker crust. $9.50 Each.

Starting in May, look for Ramona Susan’s famous Chipwich Ice Cream Sandwich for $5.00 with homemade chocolate chip M&M cookies baked soft with Bassett’s French vanilla ice cream. Contains egg, dairy, gluten.
