Philadelphia’s soon-to-open newest restaurant, Martorano’s Prime at Rivers Casino, is seeking cooks and servers to complete its team. Qualified candidates can receive on-the-spot job offers at the casino’s food and beverage hiring event on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Prospective Team Members for the new Italian-American steakhouse are encouraged to start the application process by visiting the careers page at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia before attending the career fair.
Martorano’s Prime is led by celebrity cook and South Philly native Steve Martorano, who is big on flavor and personality. Gourmet magazine famously called Martorano’s meatballs the best in the world.
All entrees, including the 16 oz. New York prime steak and classic Italian-American dishes, will be made with fresh ingredients and prepared on-site. Menu highlights include linguine and clams, bucatini carbonara, meatballs with Sunday gravy, and spicy penne vodka.
In addition to openings at Martorano’s Prime, Rivers Casino has additional food and beverage opportunities at Jack’s Bar + Grill, Mian, Geno’s Steaks and other restaurants on the premises.
“We’re close to announcing an opening date for Martorano’s Prime,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “We’ve already filled many positions, and key personnel are currently training with Steve at his flagship location in Florida. Adding more cooks and servers will ensure we’re fully staffed for the grand opening.”
