On Friday, December 3, the restaurant will celebrate its grand opening with a performance from DJ Pauly D, American television personality, star of MTV’s hit show “Jersey Shore,” and Sugar Factory’s official DJ.

Located in Midtown Village at 1216 Chestnut St., the two story, 187-seat, restaurant is the 25th location of the internationally recognized brand, which has brought its decadent dishes, sweets and treats to guests around the world for over a decade.

“We are excited to bring a sweet escape to the Philadelphia community,” shares owner Charissa Davidovici. “The Center City neighborhood’s energy and atmosphere is the perfect place for Sugar Factory’s family-friendly dining, which offers a memorable experience for guests of all ages.”

Guests can expect an immersive experience from the moment they enter Sugar Factory. The main dining area offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and is filled with photo-worthy moments, from neon signs, floral walls, and a colorful candy heart wall that is perfect for posing. Guests can enjoy Sugar Factory’s signature breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings like the Flaming HOT Cheetos Burger, an eight ounce Angus burger topped with Flaming Hot Cheetos crusted pepper jack cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, chipotle mayo and served on a Hot Cheetos crusted bun, and the Roasted Lobster Tail Frites served with garlic, herb butter, asparagus and parmesan fries. For dessert, Sugar Factory’s over-the-top Insane Milkshakes are lavishly decorated and served in chocolate-covered mugs. Sugar Factory’s most legendary dessert is the sensational King Kong Sundae, which serves up to 12 people and features 24 scoops of ice cream covered with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce and giant whirly pops.

Stepping into the candy retail store, guests can explore Sugar Factory’s iconic floor-to-ceiling candy wall, which offers a variety of sweet treats, including the brand’s famous Couture Pops, or head into the pastry and gelato bar to enjoy a selection of gelato and other desserts.

Upstairs, the restaurant’s 62-seat mezzanine area offers a chic bar setting, with black marble surfaces and wood accents.
