Hailed by former President Bill Clinton as one of the “most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era,” Chicago will bring its signature sounds to The Event Center on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. while performing a set list of classic songs.
Ranking as the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine‘s Top 125 Artists Of All Time, Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades. The band is also ranked as the highest charting American band on Billboard Magazine‘s Top 125 Artists Of All Time. Lifetime achievements include two GRAMMY Awards, two American Music Awards, recognition as Founding Artists of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, having a Chicago street dedicated in their honor, and being honored with keys to and proclamations from various U.S. cities. Record sales top the one million mark and include 21 Top 10 singles, five consecutive number one albums, 11 number one singles, and five Gold singles. An incredible 25 of their 37 albums have been certified platinum, and the band has a total of 47 Gold and Platinum awards. Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Chicago’s first album, Chicago Transit Authority, was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame in 2014. 2021 marks the band’s 54th consecutive year of touring.

Gary Clark, Jr. is set to take the stage at The Music Box theater on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. In 2019 Clark, the four-time GRAMMY Award winner, released THIS LAND, his third full-length studio album, which landed at number six on the Billboard Top 200, marking his third consecutive Top 10 debut. The same-named album and single, THIS LAND, attracted acclaim from The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and more. Clark’s domestic tours became instant sellouts. His international profile found him topping bills at legendary festivals worldwide and venues, including the Hollywood Bowl, along with multiple appearances in stadiums supporting and sharing the stage with The Rolling Stones. Clark’s GRAMMY Awards include Best Traditional R&B Performance for the track “Please Come Home” from his debut album Blak And Blu, Best Rock Performance for “This Land,” Best Rock Song for “This Land,” and Best Contemporary Blues Album, THIS LAND. Kicking off its headlining tour this November, Daughtry will perform at The Event Center on Friday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. featuring rock legends and fellow collaborators Sevendust, Tremonti, and Travis Bracht. One of the most visible and consistent rock and roll torchbearers of the 21st century, the band will play recent hits and new album staples “World On Fire” and “Heavy Is the Crown,” along with early buzzers “Evil” and “Changes Are Everything.” Daughtry will serve fans even more sonic art with today’s single “Lioness.” Selling out concerts across the globe, Daughtry has sold over nine million albums and 16 million singles worldwide. Their debut album, the self-titled Daughtry, was the top-selling album of 2007, producing four Top 20 Platinum-selling singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the fastest-selling rock debut album in Soundscan history. The album was also nominated for four GRAMMY Awards and won four American Music Awards and seven Billboard Music Awards, including Album of the Year. The subsequent albums, Leave This Town (2009), Break The Spell (2011), Baptized (2013), and Cage To Rattle (2018), were all certified Gold and placed in the top 10 in the Billboard Top 200.
