The Arden Theatre Company’s acclaimed children’s theater returns to the digital stage this April as they present an archived performance of their 2009 production of PETER PAN.  The beloved tale will come to the Arden’s online theatre for a limited engagement, April 12 through April 25, 2021.  Similar to the Arden’s previous streaming engagement of A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD this past holiday season, patrons will be able to enjoy the lively show with any size donation to the Arden.

“We are thrilled to present this classic story to a new generation of Arden audiences,” notes Terry Nolan, Producing Artistic Director.  “The Arden takes pride in their outstanding children’s theater productions, which emphasize the power of storytelling.  Our 2009 staging of PETER PAN is sure to delight and entertain both the young and young at heart.”

Ever since J.M. Barrie’s story first appeared in 1904, countless versions of PETER PAN have been produced on stage and in film. The Arden Children’s Theatre’s 2009 staging was a new adaptation; one that celebrates the joy of storytelling and the power of imagination.  Join eternally young Peter on his adventure to Neverland, a magical island where there are no parents, no rules, and fairies and pirates rule!  This staging includes the characters you loved from J.M. Barrie’s timeless masterpiece: sweet Wendy Darling, jealous Tinker Bell, the vengeful Captain Hook, a horde of mischievous Lost Boys, lovable Nana the dog, and – last but not least – a very hungry, ticking crocodile.

PETER PAN features Chris Bresky, Bi Jean Ngo, Jacqueline Real, Sarah Sanford, David J. Sweeny, and Frank X.  Directed by David O’Connor, PETER PAN was adapted for stage by Douglas Irvine.

Audience members can experience PETER PAN by making any size donation to the Arden Theatre Company.  Details and donation information can be found at ardentheatre.org.
