America’s most historic square mile hosting a dynamic collection of retail, restaurants, services, and more, is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of Old City Eats Block Party on Thursday, June 20 from 5 – 9pm. The annual celebration promises an evening of diverse eats, seasonal sippers, music, and more, as a bevy of Old City’s top restaurants, bars, and eateries come together for a one-night-only block party event, held on 2nd Street between Market and Chestnut Streets.

Old City Eats Block Party is free to attend with food and beverage available from participating purveyors as pay-as-you-go. The participating restaurants and bars encompass a variety of culinary styles, providing all in attendance with a vast selection of small bites and libations to enjoy.

“The Old City Eats Block Party highlights our neighborhood’s impressive, diverse, delicious and ever-evolving dining scene,” said Old City District Executive Director Job Itzkowitz. “We’re looking forward to putting a spotlight on our stellar restaurants, in a fun, spirited, open-air celebration along Second Street.”

Old City Eats Block Party is proudly sponsored by Bacardi. Guests can enjoy specialty cocktails featuring Bacardi, Patrón, and other Bacardi liquors at participating restaurant locations. With every Bacardi brand cocktail purchased, guests can earn tokens, which are redeemable for exclusive swag and prizes at the Bacardi tent!

Hosted al fresco along 2nd Street in Old City, a number of Philadelphia’s top tier locales will offer seasonal snacks, beer, cocktails, and wine during this one-night-only block party. Attendees can expect musical acts, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun from a number of outlets including the Philadelphia Union.
