Upper Merion’s iconic Concerts Under The Stars concert series is returning for its 37th season! Presented and produced by Rising Sun Presents, the team behind the Philly suburbs’ premier music venues Ardmore Music Hall and 118 North in Wayne, series will again take place at the scenic Upper Merion Township Building Park in King of Prussia, and will include a mix of ticketed and free concerts.
The summer-long concerts will include live music for all ages, a beer garden featuring local craft brews and cocktails and local food truck options. Events will take place from 7:00pm-10:00pm on select weeknights and 6:00pm-9:00pm on select Sundays. Tickets and more information are available HERE.
To kick off this year’s season, Concerts Under the Stars will welcome the return of Langhorne Slim for a special Friday night concert on May 19. Other shows throughout the summer will include nationally-touring acts including Rock / Soul singer Joan Osborne, Indie Rock band Strand of Oaks, Jam mainstays Keller Williams + The Hillbenders and Donna the Buffalo, singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb and Scottish Folk / Pop artist Al Stewart, best known for his 1976 top 10 single, “Year of the Cat.”
Concerts Under the Stars will also present a number of shows featuring local and regional acts like U2 tribute Unforgettable Fire, ‘80s-Rock icons Tommy Conwell & the HouseRockers, a double bill featuring Folk / Americana artists Don McCloskey and Hoots & Hellmouth and beloved regional Grateful Dead tribute Splintered Sunlight. More exciting concerts for the 2023 lineup will be announced in April.
