Ice Skate for Free in Dilworth Park this February, plus Special Events for the Whole Family!

Free in February presented by Rothman Orthopaedics returns this month to give Philadelphians the opportunity  to enjoy free admission to the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink in Dilworth Park. Beginning February 6 through  February 21, skaters of all ages will be able to hit the ice at no charge on Mondays and Tuesdays.  

Reserve complimentary admission ahead of time at rothmanrink.ticketsocket.com, beginning at 3:30 p.m. – 9  p.m. The cost of skate rental is not included in the Free in February promotion.  

Also returning this month, Superhero Skate is back this Saturday, February 4. From 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m., families with valid Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink tickets are invited to skate with their favorite comic book characters, and costumes are encouraged! Complimentary capes will also be distributed to kids while supplies last. Inside at the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin, enjoy face painting and fun crafts at no charge. As a reminder, Superhero Skate admission is not a part of the Free in February promotion.  

Later this month on Saturday, February 18, Dilworth Park will be hosting it’s first-ever Ice Festival. Celebrate the  final days of the winter season with intricate ice sculptures, dueling ice carving demonstrations and a full-size baby grand piano made entirely from ice. Additional offerings include ice skating at the Rothman Orthopaedics  Ice Rink, ice dance performances and themed food and beverages.
