James Beard Award Winner and Iron Chef Jose Garces will make an appearance at The Concourse at Comcast Center on Tuesday, January 24th from 1-2pm for an open-to-the-public meet & greet, cookbook signing and complimentary samples of Buena Onda’s signature Baja-Mexican fare.
In December 2022, The Concourse at Comcast Center added to its list of gourmet on-the-go eateries with the addition of James Beard Award-winning Iron Chef Jose Garces’ Buena Onda Taqueria, bringing the eatery’s signature laid-back vibes and tacos, Buena Bowls, churros and more.
Beginning at 1pm, Buena Onda will welcome food enthusiasts, Jose Garces fans and passersby to join in on the fun. Interested attendees will be able to purchase one of Chef Jose Garces’ two cookbooks, “The Latin Road Home” ($38) and/or “Latin Evolution ($35), and have it signed in-person by Chef. All cookbooks will come with a complimentary Buena Onda bookmark.
Throughout the event, Buena Onda will hand out complimentary samples of the restaurant’s favorite menu items – Chicken Buena Bowls and Smoked Tuna Dip with Chips. As an added bonus, guests who sign-up for Buena Onda’s new mobile app & loyalty program day-of will receive a $10 sign-up reward (typically $5) to use towards their next Buena Onda purchase.
