The long-awaited opening of Red Rūm Theater is happening this week in Philadelphia. This will be Philadelphia’s only venue dedicated to the art of murder mystery. The 3,346-square-foot venue consists of cabaret seating for up to 100 people and will be open for private events. Red Rūm Theater is located inside the Curtis at 601 Walnut Street.
On January 12, 2023, Without A Cue Productions will hold a preview party for media at their new theater, Red Rūm, which kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:00 p.m. There will be wine provided by City Winery Philadelphia and cocktails by Pops McCann Whiskey. Guests are able to explore the new theater while getting a sneak peek to their opening show, as the Golden Girls will make an appearance! Having a permanent place to call home has been a goal for the company for over 20 years, and their dreams have finally come true. Without A Cue is more than excited to continue its journey in the heart of Philadelphia providing a unique theater experience to many!

This iconic group of women have worked long and hard to throw the perfect celebration, but will they still be celebrating when they discover that one of their party guests has murderous intentions? As Sophia attempts to lighten the mood with a song, someone’s attempting to lighten the mood with a BANG!
On opening night, January 17, there will be cocktail service provided by Philadelphia-based distillery Pops McCann Whiskey, light bites, a red carpet, photo opportunities with the Golden Girls cast, and a chance to meet one of PAWS’ adoptable dogs. Red Rūm Theater will donate a portion of the proceeds from the night of their opening show to PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) and $1 from every ticket the whole month of January in honor of Betty White. Representatives from PAWS will be present during opening night providing information on how you can help save an animal’s life.
Without A Cue Productions offers a variety of events including virtual adventures, custom events, team building, walking tours, and kids entertainment, all of which provide attendees with a unique and funny experience.
