On October 9th from 3:00pm to 9:30pm, join Hook and Master to celebrate the marking of the restaurant’s First Birthday! Tickets include live music from 5-8pm courtesy of Echo Kid (Hook & Master’s very own Christian Turzo), delicious bites, and tiki drinks.
Food: Assorted Empanadas, Focaccia & dips, assorted bar plate, Chicago style Italian beef sliders, Chicago & Brooklyn style pizza
Drink Specials: $5 rum punch, $5 frozen pina colada, $5 long hot tall & refreshing, $5 wells, $8 house wines, $1 off drafts and bottles.
Can’t make the party? Try a tiki cocktail class!
Join Hook and Master on a vacation to paradise to learn how to make blissfully wonderful tiki drinks and enjoy in delectable food combinations. This class will be held by Shannon Mustipher, a renowned figure within the cocktail community, consultant, spirits educator, and author of Tiki: Modern Tropical Cocktails.
2 classes/seatings will take place:
Class 1: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Class 2: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Tickets: Tickets will be offered in 2 tiers:
Tier 1 Ticket: a hands-on, experiential event led by tiki expert Shannon Mustipher, where guests will have the chance to speak/learn from Shannon in a small group setting. Taste 8 premium rums, enjoy a cocktail crafted by Shannon, and indulge in special food pairings. $100/person (gratuity included in ticket price)
Tier 2 Ticket: a tasting event and educational event led by Hook & Master’s bartending staff. Sample 3 premium rums, several cocktails and special food pairings. $77/person (gratuity included in ticket price)

Chicken croquettes with artichoke aioli
Shrimp cocktail (spicy tomato sauce with avocado, oyster crackers)
“Something Jerk” (jerk cauliflower with honey, lemon, labneh, jerk cashew crumble)

Chicago Pan Pizza Slices (topped w/roast pork, charred pineapple, pickled jalapenos, spicy passion fruit glaze)
