SEE Global Entertainment (SEE™), EEG, CBF Productions, and MIRA announced the North American premiere of Monet by the Water, a new groundbreaking traveling exhibit connecting audiences to the timeless beauty of Claude Monet’s art, utilizing 21st-century technology to create a new benchmark for immersive events.

Commemorating the 180th anniversary of Monet’s birth, Monet by the Water will make its North American debut at the storied Sun Center Studios in Suburban Philadelphia, followed by stops in San Francisco (Fall/Winter 2022), Minneapolis (Spring 2023), Denver (Summer 2023), and San Diego (Fall 2023).

Tickets for this exclusive, 360-degree, multisensory spectacle are in high demand and on sale now at www.monetbythewater.com.

“We’re honored to bring this immersive celebration of the iconic impressionist master to the Philadelphia area for the North American premiere,” said Martin Biallas, CEO of Los Angeles based SEE Global Entertainment, and Producer of the Exhibition. “Our partnership with EEG, CBF Productions, and MIRA is one I’m truly proud of, allowing us to wow families from the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond with this spectacular show.”

A multidisciplinary team of expert digital artists developed a unique process to reimagine Monet’s paintings into a multilayered, immersive exhibition that brings together traditional and contemporary artistic languages in a way that pays homage to the iconic artist. The original soundtrack and ambience especially designed for the exhibit complement the immersion of this spectacular experience.

Monet by the Water has been meticulously designed to create a consistent and optimized experience for guests, unlike other exhibits that adapt their experiences to the venue, compromising the customer’s overall experience.

“We see Monet as a pioneer of immersion, completely surrounding people with the beauty and precision of his colors,” added Ricardo Dotta, co-founder of MIRA, the Museum of Immersive Roaming Arts. “In honor of this thought, with Monet by the Water we aim to extend his work through technological possibilities, generating spaces where the landscape fits the viewer’s scale.”

The 15,000 square foot multi-sensory exhibition will feature a captivating interactive audiovisual experience created from more than 300 pieces of Monet’s art with 26-foot-high multi-screen projections along with a water feature and bridge. The 360 degree experience will be amplified with original music, sound effects, and other sensory elements, including curated scents.

Sun Center Studios, Pennsylvania’s premier film and television production facility, is the perfect space to accommodate this unique exhibition. Throughout its history, Sun Center has been an integral part of the Greater Philadelphia area. Touted as the place where Hollywood and PA collide, the acclaimed venue has brought a wealth of opportunities to the region.

Monet by the Water takes guests on a journey to enjoy the tranquility of his Giverny’s gardens and the iconic lily ponds, explore the coastline of his beloved Normandy, travel along the banks of the Seine, and gaze at the colors of his flowers.
