Rivers Casino Philadelphia is hosting Party on the Pier to celebrate Memorial Day on Sunday, May 29, starting at 3 p.m. The event will feature live outdoor music by Bon Jovi and Prince tribute bands, food, fun, and fireworks to end the night.
This free, family-friendly event will also include games, face painting, balloon artists and plenty of free parking.
“With our pop-up music stage and spectacular fireworks show, the community can enjoy the holiday weekend outside along the waterfront,” said Justin Moore, general manager at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “This family-friendly event with music and dancing is a great way to celebrate the unofficial start of summer.”

With two live tribute bands outside and a DJ rocking the Jack’s Bar + Grill stage inside, there’s something for everyone.
Outside stage
- 4 p.m.: Slippery When Wet, the Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute
- 7:30 p.m.: Marshall Charloff & The Purple Xperience

- Legendary Philly radio and club DJ Gary O will shake up the dance floor before and after the live music performances.
Fireworks viewing, plus food trucks and fun
Enjoy waterfront views of an incredible fireworks display above the Delaware River beginning at sunset. Guests can grab a spot along the riverwalk and enjoy the colorful night sky.
Throughout the day, in addition to the live performances, guests can enjoy a variety of fun family games and activities such as corn hole, giant games of pong, Connect 4, and Jenga, face painting and a balloon artist.
