Cinco de Mayo is around the corner! Here are some top picks with all day celebrations, early extended hours, DJs and live music, drink and food specials, outdoor tents, dancing in the square and even an all day block party on South Street.
Tio Flores will close down the block and host an all-day Cinco BBQ Block Party. Stove and Tap will change their name for the day at THREE locations for a special Stove and Taco pop-up with a special drink and food menu all day in Lansdale, Malvern and West Chester. Anejo, El Camino and Pancho’s Cafe will bring the food, drinks and music to Northern Liberties and Restaurant Row. Sueno will host an all-day celebration in Midtown Village and Center City. At the Jersey Shore in Cape May, Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille will open outdoor seating for the summer on Cinco and Mother’s Day Weekend and offer $5 specials for the 5th of May.
1) Añejo Philly

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo on N. 2nd Street in Northern Liberties Restaurant Row! Añejo Philly presents an all day celebration. Come early for Cinco Siesta lunch from 12:00pm to 4:00pm for $14 per person that includes chips and salsa with your choice of burrito, torta or two tacos, plus a side of rice and beans. At night, get the party started with DJ Sojo and high energy Latin music starting at 5:00pm. All day margarita flights are $25 for four mini margaritas in Cinco flavors (strawberry, guava, passion fruit and mango) or Traditional (blanco, anejo, mezcal and jalapeno).

El Camino Real on N. 2nd Street in Northern Liberties Restaurant Row presents an all-day Cinco De Mayo fiesta with a tent, full bar and DJ outside from 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Cinco Happy Hour from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with half price all margaritas. Food specials all day inside and outside include 12 inch Carne Asada Crispy Taco-Grilled Steak, Pico De Gallo, Guacamole, Chihuahua Cheese Sauce, Lettuce, Crema; Tacos al Pastor-Spit Roasted Pork, Pineapple Salsa; and Crispy Chicken Torta-Tortilla Crusted Chicken Breast, Salsa Rojo, Black Bean Spread, Guacamole, Oaxaca Cheese, Guacamole

Garces presents Cinco de Mayo specials all day from open to close, inside and outside with $4 drafts, $5 classic margaritas, $3.50 shrimp tacos, $5 chips and guacamole and $2 chicken tacos. Place your orders ahead for catering and large group orders.
4) Pancho’s Cafe
148 W. Girard Ave.
Pancho’s in Northern Liberties celebrates Cinco de Mayo with $6 street corn and $6 churros, free aguas locas and Micheladas while supplies last from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. 21 and up with identification for alcoholic beverages.
5) Sueño

Craft Concepts Group celebrates Cinco de Mayo at Sueño with an all day celebration. Come early starting at 11:00am for lunch and margs. From 3:00pm to 8:00pm, look for a DJ, two margarita bars outside with three classic and special flavors, and $8 house margs, $5 crunchy tacos and $15 Birria tacos. Seating is available inside and outside at the streetery.
6) Tio Flores

Philly’s favorite uncle, Tio Flores, is bringing the full-force fiesta to South Street for the first annual Tio Flores Cinco de Mayo BBQ Block Party on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Inside, the celebration begins and runs all day Noon to Midnight, but outside come ready from 3:00pm to 10:00pm as Tio Flores will close down 16th Street from South to Kater, and party into the night with their signature margaritas, top-notch tacos, and buckets of beer. On top of food and drink, guests will enjoy live music, Latin beats from DK Kevin Kong, lawn games, salsa dancing, and booze-bustin’ piñatas. Bring your lawn chair and your sunglasses for a Spring fling with a Latin flair. The event is free and open to the public — come rain come shine. Tio’s main bar and restaurant will be open at noon for standard cantina fare, and the outdoor cookout starts at 3pm (pay-as-you-go, cash only). Celebrate Cinco all weekend long in Exton at Al Pastor with weekend-long specials running from May 5th to May 8th, including Taquitos $10, Elote dip w/ chips $10, Smoked Whole Pig $4 individual tacos, and watermelon and hornitos plata marg pitchers. On Saturday, May 7th, come out for Cinco Salsa with Al Pastor in the Square starting at 4pm featuring Los 9 del Sabor Orquesta.

Celebrate Cinco in Ardmore at Suburban Square at Lola’s Garden with $2 tacos at the bar (indoor and outdoor) and bar high tops. Taco selections will include Chipotle Chicken, Carnitas and Spicy Shrimp – all with cilantro, lime and onion. Margarita flights will include turmeric, ancho chili and strawberry-fig margaritas – available anywhere in the restaurant and outdoor patio.
