So many lights! You’ll feel like you’re in another world as you wander the grounds of Tinseltown in Oaks, PA (just a short drive from Philadelphia). The amount of work that was put into this place is incredible! From walk through displays to Philly favorites (sports logos, the Liberty Bell), and larger than life creatures, Tinseltown is the perfect family outing this season. Bundle up and take a trip!
Pro tip- we headed right to the Tinsel Lodge when we arrived to grab dinner. This way, my three-year-old wouldn’t whine he was hungry during the experience. Okay. I mean me. I get hangry and I wanted chicken fingers stat. There’s a great food menu with something for everyone. Hot cocoa and cider is available too (you can get it spiked) along with a variety of regular and alcoholic drinks!
If you do get hungry as you walk through the sea of lights, no worries! There are little huts scattered around where you can pick up festival foods like funnel cake, fried Oreos, candy and even s’mores (with fire pits nearby). This place will definitely get you into the holiday spirits! You’ll also find McTinsel’s Pub where you can grab another cup of Christmas cheer!
Enhance your visit with add ons like photos with Santa (daily), Gritty meet and greets (Thursdays) and ice skating. Dogs are even allowed to come with you on Wednesdays! And Mrs. Claus is there every day in her own special tent, ready to read stories to the kids!
