A Swingin’ New Year’s Eve Returns to Chris’ Jazz Café

Philly fan favorite Chelsea Reed & The Fairweather Nine will be swinging in the new year once again at Chris’ Jazz Café on Friday, December 31! It’s been two long years since jazz lovers have been able to ring in the new year at the legendary jazz club. “We’ve been robbed of our popular New Year’s Eve celebration due to covid restrictions, but as we hopefully turn the corner of this daunting era, we have a lot to look forward to in 2022,” said Chef/Owner Mark DeNinno.

The swingin’ New Year’s Eve soirée includes a scrumptious 3-course prix fixe and show package featuring Chelsea Reed and the Fair Weather Nine, a New Orleans jazz and blues band specializing in music from the golden age of jazz. The group hails from Philadelphia and all members are Temple University Boyer College of Music students or graduates. The band will play the music of early jazz artists such as Fats Waller, Bessie Smith, Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday.

Dinner & Show packages are on sale now (maximum of 4 tickets per order): $100 per person includes a 3-course dinner and the show. Beverages, tax & gratuity not included.
