It’s time to get in the holiday spirit at Craftsman Row Saloon!

-Brenda Hillegas

I’m already a big fan of Craftsman Row Saloon and their crazy milkshakes. You’ll see. Keep reading! It’s always a great spot to visit before seeing a show at the Walnut Street Theatre. It’s especially great right now, though, because Craftsman Row is all decked out for Christmas and features some new, festive menu items.

You may already be familiar with the brother/sister duo of George and Vasiliki Tsiouris, as we visited their Opa pop up at Drury Beer Garden last week. They also own Craftsman Row Saloon which is a holiday wonderland right now with thousands of twinkling lights, hundreds of shiny ornaments, bows, garland and tinsel! You’ll want photos of everything. No detail was spared!

I love you Craftsman Row!

There are six awesome holiday cocktails on the menu right now! We ordered the Elf Help Book (gin, elderflower, sparkling wine and lemon) and the Yoo Hoo It’s Me (vodka, cold chocolate, whipped cream and a cocoa dusting).

The menu at Craftsman Row Saloon is always tasty with something for everyone. I’m a big fan of their burgers and decided on a special one that’s being offered at the Christmas pop up right now. It’s their Christmas Dinner Burger with all the fixings like stuffing, cranberry sauce, and sweet potato fries. Other unique combos right now are the French Toast Burger and Donut Fried Chicken. I’m sure you can guess what the “bun is on those two. My husband ordered the Cheesesteak Burger. We choose some appetizers too. Mac and cheese, of course, because I love trying it no matter where I go. And the Doritos crusted mozzarella sticks.

And lastly, those milkshakes. Craftsman Row Saloon is known for over the top, epic, delicious, milkshakes. If you can fit a treat in or on the glass, expect it to be there! Holiday themed milkshakes include the Pumpkin to Talk About (pictured below with the Cereal Killa) and the Ugly Sweater (which looked amazing- dig around on Instagram to see some pics of it). Any of the milkshakes can be made boozy for a couple extra bucks. Add your favorite liquor or let the restaurant suggest one for you. There are also some premade adult shake options to help narrow down this really hard decision!

Visit Craftsman Row Saloon soon for a night of holiday music, good food and memories. Even the outside streatery matches the Christmas mood inside! This place is kid-friendly too with “fun meals” that include a sandwich, a small shake and fries. There are a load of beer options too.

And one last drink before we said goodnight. The Off the Tree with gin, bay leaf and turmeric!
