Spectacor Events & Entertainment announced new details for their groundbreaking holiday event series, “Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular presented by Dietz & Watson.”
The massive, immersive, one-of-a-kind experience offering a winter wonderland of lights, shopping, and dining will take place from November 26 (Black Friday) through January 2, 2022 at the Fairgrounds at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa., and will feature special events like ‘Waggin’ Wednesdays,’ when Tinseltown guests can bring their dogs along and ‘Gritty Thursdays’ when Philadelphia’s favorite mascot will join holiday revelers, local artisans and food & beverage vendors, a safe, eco-friendly skating rink, perfect for kids and beginners, and much more.
Tickets for Tinseltown are limited and start at $19.99 for adults and $13.99 for children under 13. Admission is FREE for children under five. All ticket buyers will be required to select a designated arrival window when purchasing - patrons are encouraged to book their timed tickets early as sell-outs are anticipated. Tinseltown will offer an enchanting holiday experience sure to dazzle visitors every step of the way. With dozens of larger-than-life glowing presents, snowflakes and trees leading the path, guests will find themselves on a journey through the ultimate winter wonderland, with an extra touch of Philly magic. Along the way, visitors will also find a selection of festively themed concession areas, Santa’s photo hut, Mrs. Claus’ reading room, and an eco-friendly skating rink, perfect for beginners of all ages.

Tinseltown boasts a wide range of holiday fun, with the following retail and entertainment experiences along the way, including:
Waggin’ Wednesdays– Each Wednesday during Tinseltown’s run, guests are welcome to bring along their furry canine friends to join in the holiday festivities. On Waggin’ Wednesdays, our furry guests will have the chance to get their paws on a number of select giveaways including potty bag holders, bandanas and even more to bark about — **giveaways are limited to the first 20 dogs per entry time. On these special nights, owners can also get their dog’s photo taken with Santa by purchasing one of Tinseltown’s premium photo packages, which can be pre-purchased here.
Gritty Thursdays– Each Thursday, holiday goers and Philly sports fans alike can see Flyers’ mascot Gritty during their visit to Tinseltown. Those looking to get photos with Gritty, who will be dressed to the nines in his finest holiday threads, can visit his photo hut as part of Tinseltown’s Front Gate ticket package. Guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase their Front Gate photos at the end of their visit. **Photo opportunities with Gritty will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mistletoe Marketplace - Tinseltown’s Mistletoe Marketplace will feature a collection of local vendors selling original art, seasonal treats, and other goods perfect for checking off your holiday shopping list. Tinseltown opens starting Black Friday weekend (Friday, Nov. 26 – Sunday, Nov. 28, 5:00-10:00 p.m.) and then follows the below schedule:
- December 2 – December 16: Wednesdays – Sundays, 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.
- December 17 – January 2 Mondays –Sundays, 4:30 – 10:00 p.m.
**Final entry time is 9 p.m., event space closes at 10 p.m.
Ample parking is available for FREE , just a short walk from the event space. VIP parking is available for $5 and is conveniently located steps from Tinseltown’s entrance.
