On Saturday, April 28, 2018 you can enjoy margaritas from many of the city’s bars and restaurants as they compete for the title of “Best Margarita in Philly”. Sponsored by Don Julio Tequila, Margarita Rumble is an event celebrating the best margaritas Philly has to offer.
Some of the many competitors include mixologists from Besito Mexican, Mad Rex, Copabanana, Draught Horse, The Red Lady, Infusion Lounge, Tortilla Press Cantina, Lucha Cartel, and Coda.
The event will take place at The Piazza at Schmidt’s Commons, 1001 N. 2nd St,
Philadelphia, PA 19123 (North Second Street and Germantown Avenue, below Girard).
Margarita Rumble will be divided into three time slots, starting at 12:45 PM and ending at 8:45 PM, allowing all attendees to taste and vote for their favorite margarita. VIP early access tickets can be purchased for $65 and general admission tickets can be purchased for $45. Both tickets include margarita samples, the opportunity to vote, and entertainment.
Vendors such as El Guaco Loco and Sweet Lavender will be on site to purchase food during the event.
