The Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) is thrilled to celebrate its 90th anniversary with the highly anticipated BrAVA Philadelphia! AVA’s 90th Anniversary Celebration and Gala, on March 21, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., at Marian Anderson Hall in the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets for this special anniversary event are now available to purchase.
“Our 90th Anniversary Celebration and Gala is a momentous occasion that not only celebrates our remarkable nine-decade history but also showcases the extraordinary talent and dedication of our artists,” said Scott Guzielek, President and Artistic Director of AVA. “This milestone is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our staff and instructors, whose passion for nurturing talent has helped shape countless generations of artists. The evening will feature captivating performances by several of AVA’s most distinguished alumni, including soprano and three-time Grammy-winner Latonia Moore ’04, accompanied by the renowned AVA Opera Orchestra. BraAVA Philadelphia! presents opera’s greatest arias in a breathtaking display of musical brilliance, making it a celebration that is not to be missed.
