Comedian, actor and impressionist Jay Pharoah is bringing his hilarious “Grown Ass Kid Tour” to the Live! Event Center at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia on Friday, March 14, 2025. Pharoah is best known for his six seasons on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” where he showcased his wide array of uncanny celebrity impressions, including former President Barack Obama, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, and many more.
Pharoah most recently starred in the biopic “Spinning Gold” as Cecil Homes, the right-hand man of 1970s record producer Neil Bogart, who co-founded Casablanca Records. He also starred in “The Blackening” as Shawn. The film performed so well in the Toronto International Film Festival that it was sold to Lionsgate and will be released this upcoming Juneteenth weekend.
In the last few years, Pharoah has appeared in Comedy Central’s “Out of Office” alongside Ken Jeong and Oscar Nuñez and in the independent comedy “Mort in Sherman Oaks” with Lucy Hale and Jim Gaffigan. Other recent credits include Netflix’s “Resort to Love” and “Private Property.”
On the small screen, Pharoah starred as “J.J. Evans” in ABC’s Emmy Award-winning “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” version of “All in the Family” and “Good Times.” He currently hosts and produces the Nickelodeon hit gameshow, “Unfiltered.”
In addition to acting and stand-up, Pharoah released his first EP titled “Spittin Image,” which is a marriage of his spot-on impressions and love of songwriting and rapping.
