48 Record Bar, the high-tech listening room and cocktail bar located above Old City’s legendary Sassafras, is going all out this Halloween with an SNL-themed Halloween Party on Thursday, October 31 from 5pm to 2am that includes special DJ selectors spinning both obscure and fan-favorite Halloween tunes, featured themed and highly-autumnal sippers crafted with Art in the Age Siege of Wolves rum, and more.
Ideal for music lovers, comedy enthusiasts, and Halloween fans alike to celebrate spooky season while sipping on innovative cocktails, 48 Record Bar’s SNL-themed Halloween Party will feature two limited-time craft cocktails, both utilizing Art in the Age’s newest spirit debut, Siege of Wolves rum. Imbibers can enjoy the Sunset on Samhain, a tiki-inspired libation crafted with Siege of Wolves rum, house-made spiced red wine syrup, banana liqueur, and walnut bitters, finished with smoking cinnamon and star anise, and Úll mo shúl (or, “apple of my eye”), a cinnamon-spiced daiquiri featuring pineapple and allspice dram, combining both Siege of Wolves and Smith and Cross rums, and garnished with a fresh clove-studded orange rose.
All are encouraged to come dressed as their most favorite iconic SNL character — or any costume they would like outside of the SNL realm — for a fun-filled evening of vinyl and cocktails. 48 Record Bar’s SNL-themed Halloween Party will operate on a first come, first served basis with no reservations.
