The acclaimed seasonal Italian BYOB from the Townsend Wentz Restaurant Group (TWRG) is home to a bevy of pastas and other fine Italian fare made “by hand”. Standout dishes from Chef Wentz include Ricotta Cavatelli composed with broccoli rabe, lemon, and Pecorino Calabrese, Saffron Rotolo comprised of spinach, black olives, capers, anchovy, Ricotta, and puttanesca sauce, and Squid Ink Lumache Fruitti di Marre, a spicy combination of baby shrimp, calamari, mussels, and ‘nduja. All are available as part of a three-course or four-course prix fixe experience, as well as à la carte.
Dolce Italian
Celebrate National Pasta Day and month at Dolce Italian and indulge in their new fall menu, featuring pasta highlights like Autumn Squash Risotto, short rib and bone marrow agnolotti, and truffled spinach ricotta ravioli. Dolce is known for their selection of handmade and hand-rolled pasta, using double zero 00 flour for a smooth texture and better elasticity. Panorama offers a selection of homemade pastas by Executive Chef Anthony DiSabato, featuring classic and contemporary dishes with an emphasis on high-quality ingredients. An authority in Philadelphia’s fine Italian dining, Panorama has been a family-owned and operated business for over 30 years, founded by Italian immigrant Luca Sena in 1990. With family recipes still commanding influence throughout Panorama’s menu, all the pasta is made fresh in-house with highlights including the Gnocchi Tartufo ($29), pillows of potato and ricotta gnocchi with truffle cheese and local cream, and the Lobster Ravioli ($34) served in a lobster reduction with a touch of cream.
