Pennsbury Manor is preparing for a spooktacular afternoon of no-cost Halloween fun on October 27 at its annual Halloween-themed Tricks & Treats event!

An expected 600+ local kids in costumes will descend on the historic property with their families for one of the region’s most popular, family-friendly Halloween experiences. Activities will include:

  • Trick-or-treating on the estate grounds; volunteers in period attire hand out candy
  • Sit on the jury of a witch trial
    • This is a kid-friendly reenactment of a real witch trial that William Penn presided over in 1683
  • Halloween carnival with spooky games and activities
  • Magic talking pumpkin show, featuring enchanted gourds
  • Heritage dancers demonstrating 17th century line dancing

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes and enjoy the historical site of Pennsylvania founder William Penn’s reconstructed estate on the Delaware River.

Event hours are 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tricks & Treats is free to the public thanks to the generous support of Peddler’s Village and Council for the Advancement of Public Schools. Learn more.
