The Wilma Theater welcomes TheaterWorksUSA’s family-friendly, NY Times Critic’s Pick, Dog Man: The Musical, based on the popular book series by Dav Pilkey (creator of Captain Underpants). Don’t miss your chance to see the characters come to life on stage, now through October 15th!

Fans of the book series will love seeing all of their favorites in an original story that will spark the imaginations of everyone in the audience! Dog Man (Brandon James Butorovich)- with the head of a dog and the body of a policeman- brings lots of laughs and important lessons all while fighting crime, doing what’s right… and acting like a dog, of course! Can he save the city from Flippy the Cyborg Fish (Glory Yepassis-Zembrou)? And what’s Petey (Zach Abbey)- the world’s most evil cat- up to? Well, he cloned himself and Li’l Petey (Sadie Jayne Kennedy) is now following his every move!

The musical starts with George (Marquise Neal) and Harold (Mundo Ballejos) coming up with the idea for the show you’re about to see- because anything can be made into a musical, they say! But will they be able to finish the show before lunchtime? With the help of their surroundings, everyday items like cardboard boxes and toys, and an enthusiastic crowd (you!) to keep them motivated, Dog Man the Musical is a fun story with catchy original music and a reminder to do good, use your voice and imagination, and just have fun!

Tickets start at $32 and can be purchased by visiting www.wilmatheater.org or by calling the Wilma’s box office at 215-546-7824.
