In anticipation of HAMILTON’s return to the Academy of Music this fall, Ensemble Arts Philly announces a unique city-wide scavenger hunt available exclusively through the Hamilton App. Starting on October 7 and running through October 21, 2024, Philadelphians will have the exciting opportunity to explore their city like never before and win tickets to see Hamilton at the Academy of Music.
“We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the return of Hamilton to Philadelphia with a city-wide scavenger hunt,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “This is a unique opportunity to engage the entire community, allowing fans to explore like never before the historic landmarks and hidden gems of Philadelphia that inspired the musical. This is a perfect way to honor both our city’s rich history and the revolutionary spirit of Hamilton.”
On Monday, October 7, Ensemble Arts Philly will share clues to each scavenger hunt location via their social media; participants will then collect additional clues and complete the scavenger hunt via the Hamilton App. Participants will be directed to various locations and instructed to snap a photo of themselves using the custom HamCam filter. Once the filter is accessed, the participant will receive a notification through the App, directing them to an article, providing further context on the location.
Participants must collect photos via the Hamilton App at four of the seven offered locations around the city, and then post to their main feed on Instagram, X/Twitter, or Facebook using the hashtag #HaminPHL to be entered to win. One entry allowed per person.

The Hamilton App is available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
