Panorama, Old City’s premier wine bar boasting a Guinness World record for its custom-built wine keeper pouring over 120 wines by the tap, and a 2024 Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence winner, is announcing a new monthly wine tasting experience for wine connoisseurs and the wine curious. Introducing Friday Night Flights, an informative and in-formal “walk-around style” tasting with industry experts highlighting a new wine region or importer each month. The first installment is Friday, October 4 from 6-8pm featuring Jana Sukala of Vintage Imports and New Zealand wines. Tickets are $35/person and are available for purchase here.
Paying homage to the restaurant industry-style wine portfolio tastings, Panorama invites wine lovers to its Old City bar for an intimate experience with Jana Sukala of Vintage Imports and Panorama General Manager and Wine Director, William Eccleston. Jana Sukala will be pouring seven wines from New Zealand, from Marlborough to Hawke’s Bay, including:
- Decibel Pet-Nat
- Giunta “Crispy White”
- Wai Wai Sauvignon Blanc
- Decibel Viognier
- Wai Wai Pinot Noir
- Giunta Malbec Nouveau
- Decibel Malbec
Guests will be able to taste each of the above wines and enjoy guided tasting discussions with Jana Sukala and William Eccleston. Additionally, guests will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres from Executive Chef Anthony DiSabato.
Friday Night Flights will take place on the first Friday of each month from 6-8pm and feature rotating wine experts and representatives alongside Panorama’s William Eccleston. Depending on availability, a select number of tickets will be available at the door for an increased price of $45/person, however, advanced ticket purchase is strongly advised.
