Join the Grand Kyiv Ballet on a magical journey as Ukraine’s top dancers present the Nutcracker and the world premiere of Snow Queen. Founded by acclaimed artists Olexander Stoyanov and Kateryna Kukhar, the company embodies cultural resilience, featuring more than 35 dancers, including 20 from Ukraine. As part of one of the 105 Winter 2024 U.S. city tours, the troupe will visit the Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey areas for a limited time!

In The Nutcracker, Mary’s magical dream comes to life when her Nutcracker battles the Mouse King and transforms into a Prince. They celebrate their victory with enchanting dances before she awakens, holding the Nutcracker. In Snow Queen, young Kai is cursed and taken by the Snow Queen, and his friend Gerda embarks on a dangerous journey to save him, hoping her love will thaw his frozen heart. Both ballets tell captivating stories of magic, triumph, and the power of love and friendship.

In a commitment to cultural preservation, Grand Kyiv Ballet is proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds from these events will be directed toward the renovation efforts of the Main Ballet Academy of Ukraine and repairing the children’s dormitory.
