Football season has officially begun which means the 9th annual Turkey Day Tailgate is right around the corner! Philly PR Girl and presenting sponsor The O’Hara Home Team have planned an incredible event on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., before the Birds game. The charity event will feature food, drinks, and entertainment from local businesses. All guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item in support of this year’s charitable partner, North Light Community Center.
Turkey Day Tailgate will have an assortment of beverages available for guests to enjoy before the big game. MudHen Brewing Company will be bringing their Beer Trailer to serve a selection of brews including a Pumpkin Beer and a special green beer in honor of the Birds. Tito’s Handmade Vodka will be providing crafted seasonal cocktails and City Winery Philadelphia will be providing fall mimosas.
No tailgate is complete without a delicious pre-game menu and Turkey Day Tailgate will have mouthwatering food options for attendees. Sticking to the Thanksgiving theme, Pastificio Deli will be bringing their Turkey Gobbler Sandwich, Brooklyn Dumpling Shop PHL will have their specialty dumplings including a limited-time Thanksgiving dumpling, and Philly Food Works will be setting up a Harvest Corner complete with a caramel apple station. Attendees can also choose from wings and pulled pork sandwiches from Di Bruno Brothers, assorted breakfast pastries from Bimbo Bakeries, and more.
There will be no shortage of entertainment at Turkey Day Tailgate. Thanks to entertainment sponsor iHeartMedia, Q102’s Rach on the Radio will be hosting the event alongside DJ Nugget who will be providing music all morning. Philly Sports Trips will be bringing special guests Hollis Thomas (Former Philadelphia Eagle) and The Philly Sports Guy. There will also be various tailgating games, photo opportunities, and raffle prizes.
