Philly French Hotspot Forsythia to Host Celebratory Fifth Anniversary Dinner Aug. 22

Critically acclaimed “Philly French” dining destination Forsythia is set to celebrate its fifth anniversary next week. Focused heavily on utilizing top-tier seasonal ingredients and serving them in unique and delightful ways, Forsythia captures the essence of seasonal cuisine with a French twist.

To celebrate, Forsythia will feature a menu highlighting top dishes from the past five years on Thursday, Aug. 22.  Proceeds from the dinner will benefit myFace.org, a nonprofit dedicated to changing the faces and transforming the lives  of children and adults with facial differences by providing access to holistic comprehensive care, education, resources and support that pave the way for better outcomes.

Courses include:

  1. 2019- a yellow corn vichyssoise with blue crab, brown butter lemon crémeux and puffed grains
  2. 2020- Wagyu beef carpaccio with charred broccoli, malt-molasses dressing and broccoli steam remoulade
  3. 2021- oven roasted dorade with beech mushrooms, Fresno chili, and uni-champagne
  4. 2022- rabbit blanquette with fairy tale eggplant, hazelnuts, cherries and foie gras jus
  5. 2023- baba au rhum with blueberry crémeux lemon and toasted coconut

The five-course prix fixe menu is available for $95 per person with an optional wine pairing for $65. Reservations can be made at Resy.
