Oloroso’s Monthly Sunday Funday “Fever Dream” Returns for August

This month’s installment of Fever Dream is set for Sunday, August 18, from 4 pm to 7 pm, hosted by Oloroso, Philadelphia’s premier Spanish tapas restaurant and sherry bar in the heart of Center City. Held on the third Sunday of every month, this industry night meets happy hour features a dynamic mix of DJs, drink specials, a build-your-own gin & tonic bar, discounted and complimentary tapas, and plenty of dancing.

Created by Owner/Chef Townsend Wentz and Executive Chef Jason Peabody, Fever Dream is designed to offer culinary enthusiasts, neighbors, industry professionals, and everyone in between an unforgettable, lively experience—perfect for curing even the deepest Sunday scaries. The upcoming installment will feature a local DJ spinning vinyl on Oloroso’s second floor, with plenty of space for dancing and mingling, alongside full restaurant and bar service with happy hour specials.

In collaboration with premium Spanish gin Nordés Atlantic Gin andpremium tonic water purveyor Fever-Tree, Oloroso’s Fever Dream will present an interactive G&T Bar. All Nordés Atlantic Gin cocktails are just $8 during Fever Dream. 

To snack on, guests can indulge in a delectable array of Spanish tapas during Fever Dream, including:

• Coca 
• Chistorra con Pita 
• Buñuelos de Bacalao
• Pequeña hamburguesa
• Pan con Hongos
• Albóndigas 

During the first hour, attendees will enjoy a complimentary pintxo to complement the vibrant flavors and festive atmosphere.

Additionally, Oloroso offers freshly-minted happy hour offerings that encompass conservas (sardines, white tuna, piquillo peppers); tapas (patatas bravas, ham & cheese croqueta, buñelos de bacalao, etc.); porróns (cidra, sangria, beer); sherry, vermouth, wine, and cocktails such as a Carajillo with espresso and Licor 43, and the Flor de Jerez comprising Jamaican rum, sherry, apricot liquor, lemon, and angostura biters.

All individual Tapas are just $5 during Fever Dream. 

Fever Dream will operate the third Sunday of each month from 4pm – 7pm. Walk-ins are welcomed, and reservations can be made for dinner service via Resy.

Hours of operation: Tuesday through Thursday 4 – 9 pm, Friday 4 – 10 pm, Saturday 4:30 – 10 pm, and Sunday 4:30 – 9 pm.
