Emmy-nominated comedian, actress, author and host MS. PAT will bring her unforgiving and darkly hilarious ‘Ms. Pat: The Hot & Flashy Tour’ to the Live! Event Center at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia on Saturday, November 23. Ms. Pat is best known for ‘The Ms. Pat Show’, her Netflix standup comedy special ‘Ms. Pat: Y’all Wanna Hear Something Crazy?’ and multiple BET shows based on her real-life story of an inner-city drug dealer turned suburban mom.
Declared by The Huffington Post as “the real hero of sitcom TV,” Patricia Williams (Ms. Pat) achieved stardom in the critically acclaimed multi-cam series ‘The Ms. Pat Show’, produced by Lee Daniels and Brian Grazer. Drawing on Pat’s experiences as a drug dealer turned suburban mom, the hit series charms audiences with raw, unfiltered and hilarious sensibility. The show’s premiere broke viewership records on BET+ and Paramount+ streaming platforms and received Emmy nominations in the “Outstanding Direction for a Comedy Series” category in 2022 and 2023. The show began its fourth season in May 2024.
Ms. Pat produces, writes and performs in her weekly court show ‘Ms. Pat Settles It’, inspired by the beloved Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, and Steve Harvey on BET linear. The show follows Ms. Pat and a jury of her comedy friends as they settle people’s everyday disputes and premiered as the number two show on primetime television for black viewers.
Ms. Pat’s standup special ‘Y’All Wanna Hear Something Crazy?’, directed by comedy legend Robert Townsend and Executive Produced by Wanda Sykes, received accolades from The New York Times and Indiewire.
