Oyster-lovers can find oysters of all types in and around Philly for National Oyster Day. Here are a few spots!

At The Table, Wayne’s venerable and award-winning fine-dining restaurant from chefs Alex Hardy and Tara Buzan-Hardy, offers an exquisite raw bar boasting everything one may need to celebrate National Oyster Day, all summer long. With Signature Oyster offerings of Acadian Pearl Oysters from Richibucto, New Brunswick, Pink Moon Oysters from New London, PEI, and Kumamoto Oysters from Humboldt, California. Seafood enthusiasts can indulge in the Oyster Trio ($10), featuring each Signature Oyster topped with unique accompaniments, the Oyster Ensemble ($19), which includes three Signature Oysters along with yellowfin tuna sashimi and poached jumbo shrimp or opt for the Seafood Royale ($100) showcasing a dozen Signature Oysters, U10 shrimp cocktail, yellowfin tuna sashimi, cold poached lobster tail, fancy lump crab salad & claws, and an array of sauce. 

Café Click -where employees, residents and visitors alike can relax, socialize, and enjoy a delicious meal throughout the week- features an assortment of East Coast Oysters. Marrying the simplicity of the French countryside with the bustling energy of Center City, Café Click offers an unparalleled atmosphere with a simple, yet savory menu.

Council Oak Steaks & Seafood at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is the perfect shore spot to celebrate National Oyster Day. Guests can feel good about devouring oysters as Hard Rock Atlantic City is a founding member of New Jersey Shell Recycling Program, which collects more than 100 metric tons of discarded oysters annually. Rather than ending up in landfills, the shells are cleaned and reused to maintain local oyster populations. 

Forsythia features a daily selection of oysters accompanied by an espelette mignonette. The espellete is a French pepper which takes the classic accompaniment to a new level with a subtle kick creating the perfect bite.

The Hayes, Midtown Village’s contemporary American tavern and gastropub from acclaimed Chef Townsend Wentz, celebrates National Oyster Day with a feature from the starter portion of the menu of Oysters 1/2 Shell ($18)including a half dozen East Coast Oysters served with lemon and mignonette, along with a special offering of 2 Buck a Shuck, available during daily happy hour from 3 – 6pm featuring discounted bites and beverages.

Hook and Ladder Sky Bar at Hotel West & Main in Conshohocken- enjoy laid-back yet elevated vibes, great cocktails, and an assortment of fresh oysters.

Jansen, in Mt. Airy, will offer a variety of oyster delights from the starters section of the menu such as Oysters Rockefeller ($24) featuring duchess potato, bacon, spinach, and garlic brown butter breadcrumbs, and the classic Half Dozen Raw Oysters from the East Coast ($22) or West Coast ($26).

Loch Bar Philly is offering $2 a shuck Chef’s Select Oysters all day long on Monday, August 5! Pair them with your favorite martini or a classic Loch Bar Crush, and fan favorites like the crab cakes, potato skins and caviar, Loch Burger, and more!

Oltremare, the new seafood-forward modern Italian restaurant from Chef-Owner and restauranteur Townsend Wentz, welcomes oyster enthusiasts to celebrate National Oyster Day with their beloved antipasti specialty: Oysters half dozen for $18, served with an apple-white balsamic mignonette. Their fresh happy hour menu also includes $3 oysters, alongside other Italian-inspired bar snacks, $10 glasses of wine, and $5 beers available on weekdays from 4:30 to 6 PM. 

Stella of New Hope, Bucks County’s modern American restaurant located in the Ghost Light Inn with stunning 180-degree views of the Delaware River, is the perfect destination for celebrating National Oyster Day in Bucks County. Featured on the dinner menu, the restaurant offers Oysters on the Half Shell (MP), served with seasonal granita, mignonette, lemon, and house-made cocktail sauce. Guests can indulge in the briny goodness while enjoying the picturesque river views.

Square 1682, the modern American upbeat kitchen situated on the ground level of the Kimpton Hotel Palomar, is celebrating National Oyster Day (Monday, August 5th) with $1 oysters and $8 bubbles available throughout lunch service. Additionally, every Tuesday from 5 pm to 8 pm, seafood enthusiasts can indulge in ‘Buck-A-Shuck & Bubbles’, where $1 oysters are paired with $8 bubbles, creating an evening of luxury and approachability.

The Twisted Tail, Headhouse Square’s restaurant, bar, and live music venue, is a paradise for oyster enthusiasts, especially on National Oyster Day. During the restaurant’s social hour, offered from 4 pm to 6 pm, guests are invited to grab a seat at the large indoor bar and enjoy Buck-a-Shuck Oysters (1/2 dozen oysters for $6), served with vodka cocktail sauce, hot sauce, and a mignonette. The Twisted Tail also offers Oysters on the Half Shell ($18), available on the dinner menu from 4 pm to 10 pm.

Townsend EPX, Chef Townsend Wentz’s French restaurant and bar on East Passyunk Avenue, is currently featuring Acadian Pearl Oysters, complete with diced watermelon and pink peppercorn, just in time for National Oyster Day. This dish is part of its current hyper-seasonal offerings on the Chef’s Tasting menu, priced at $95 per person, with an optional wine pairing available for $65 per person.

Urban Farmer– hotel guests and Philadelphia locals can celebrate National Oyster Day at Urban Farmer, the modern American steakhouse located in the Logan Hotel, renowned for its locally sourced ingredients and in-house butcher shop and mushroom program. Available on the dinner menu, Urban Farmer offers Oysters ($23), perfectly paired with a rhubarb mignonette.
