Urban Farmer Philadelphia, the rural-chic farm-to-table mainstay located in historic Logan Square, is hosting a very special Cornucopia dinner on Thursday, August 15, starting at 6 pm. Known for his bold and inventive culinary takes, Executive Chef & Butcher Sonny Ingui is delivering a delectable seven course line-up showcasing the versatility of corn. The worldly menu is paralleled by maize-focused libations and specially selected wines courtesy of Lead Bartender Christopher Moran.

From its origins in ancient Mesoamerica to its status as a global food source, corn has played a crucial role in human sustenance and culinary innovation. The Cornucopia dinner pays homage to this incredible ingredient and its impact on food systems and the bounty of local farms. Guests will enjoy an intimate atmosphere in the stylish Verdant Room with communal seating, getting a chance to engage with fellow food enthusiasts and the Urban Farmer team while navigating the culinary maize. Tickets for the Cornucopia dinner are $120 per person (excluding gratuity and taxes) and can be purchased here.

“Corn is such a versatile ingredient, and our goal is to showcase its many forms in a creative and delicious way,” said Ingui. “This dinner not only celebrates corn but also emphasizes our commitment to sourcing locally and supporting our farming community.”

Cornucopia will commence with a complimentary glass of prosecco, and Ingui will be offering his expertise table-side, providing guests with history and context about each dish as it’s being served. Moran will also offer insight on the corn-centric cocktails and wines. The Cornucopia menu comes with six courses, followed by dessert:
