Farm-to-Picnic-Table: Urban Farmer’s Summer Beer Garden

Urban Farmer, the modern American steakhouse known for its locally sourced ingredients and in-house butcher shop and mushroom program, is transforming the Courtyard at the Logan Hotel into a weekend Summer Beer Garden, running through July 28. Open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. The garden will play host to live music, refreshing beverages, light bites, and various yard games. 

Spearheaded by Executive Chef Sonny Ingui, the Summer Beer Garden will be serving freshly baked flatbreads fired up in Urban Farmer’s OONI pizza oven. All flatbreads are entirely customizable with an array of toppings to choose from, and guests can order any of the following signature flatbreads ($16) which are also currently on the menu at Assembly Rooftop Lounge:

  • Calabria // pomodoro sauce, Calabrian salami, house made fennel sausage, caramelized onions, mozzarella
  • Elote // roasted sweet corn, cotija cheese, chili lime aioli, pickled red onion, mozzarella
  • Margherita // pomodoro sauce, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil pesto

The Summer Beer Garden will have a satellite bar with a limited beverage menu to accompany the bites, including rotating canned cocktails and wines, and beer from Workhorse, Troegs, Slyfox and more. The garden is family and pet-friendly, and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Beverages and snacks must be ordered and picked up from the satellite bar.
