July 4th- Free Family Day at The Weitzman in Old City

On July 4th, The Weitzman will be open from 10-5, with kid-friendly activities most of the day. The Museum is also extending its hours for the whole week. Families can play and chill out for free in the air conditioning at The Weitzman before and after the July 4 parade, which passes directly outside the museum.

  • Sing and Dance along with Two of a Kind, an interactive musical performance
  • An exciting self-paced scavenger hunt awaits kids of all ages
  • Sensory-friendly play with Adoughma Play
  • Make-and-Take 4th of July crafts
  • Shopping in the Museum Store

The Museum will be open daily from Thursday, June 27 through July 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (until 7p.m. on July 2). After July 7, the Museum returns to Thursday through Sunday summer hours.
