Assembly Rooftop Lounge, The Logan Hotel’s year-round chic rooftop cocktail bar and lounge perched above the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, is taking brunch to new heights with the launch of its monthly summer brunch party. Once a month, on select Saturdays from 11am-2pm, guests can enjoy seasonal cocktails, elevated brunch dishes, DIY Mimosa kits, and more while grooving to live music from rotating DJs and musicians. Brunches will be held on June 22, July 27 and August 17. Reservations are live and can be made here.
On the heels of its blowout summer launch event a few weeks ago, Assembly is keeping the party going with the addition of monthly brunch. For the kickoff on Saturday, June 22, DJ AIR will be spinning tunes while guests enjoy cocktails, mimosa kits complete with a bottle of Champagne and three juices, plus new brunch dishes from Executive Chef Sonny Ingui paired with unparalleled views of the Parkway, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Logan Circle. Guests must be 21+ and must bring valid ID to enter.
“What better way to celebrate the summer solstice than with a brunch party on a rooftop?” said Hannah Boothman, Food and Beverage Sales and Marketing Manager at The Logan. “It’s been several years since we’ve offered brunch at Assembly, so we’re excited to bring it back for the summer months and remind our guests that the views are just as amazing during the day – and so are the cocktails! Guests at our first brunch on June 22 will get a first taste of the new brunch food menu.”
Assembly’s brunch menu includes bites from the revamped summer menu with highlights including Eggs and Caviar($17) deviled egg with American caviar, créme fraiche, chives; Strawberry Salad ($15) composed of red onion, walnuts, strawberries, cucumber, feta and drizzled with strawberry vinaigrette; Cheese ($18) and Charcuterie ($17); Crab & Avocado Toast ($18) jumbo lump, lemon argumato, chives, smashed avocado and radish on toasted sourdough; Smoked Salmon Bagel ($17) with smoked salmon, pickled red onion, capers, whipped cream cheese on a toasted bagel. Plus, a selection of flatbreads, including a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Flatbread ($16) and the Bianca Flatbread ($15) with garlic ricotta, broccoli rabe, crushed red pepper, mozzarella and parmesan.
The summer cocktail list boasts a selection of berry and citrus-forward refreshments including the Sunset Spritz ($18) with Stoli Citrus Vodka, Aperol, wild berry tea, fresh lemon, prosecco; Classic White Sangria ($16) mixing white rum, Giffard Peche liqueur, and crisp white wine infused with fresh fruits and citrus; and Mezcu Me ($18) with Bahnez mezcal, giffard d’espelette liqueur, cucumber, and fresh lime; Yogurt Punch ($19) with Ford’s Gin, Campari, dry vermouth, port wine and fresh lemon. The list wouldn’t be complete without its signature Frosé ($16) crafted with rosé wine, dry vermouth, Cocchi Rosa aperitif, strawberry, and fresh lemon. A selection of red, white, sparkling wine and beer round out the beverage list.
For those looking to celebrate, Assembly will also be offering Mimosa Kits with three options including one glass of sparkling + juice ($14), one bottle of sparkling + three juices ($68), or two bottles of sparkling + three juices ($126).
Assembly Rooftop Lounge is open daily at 4pm with kitchen closing at 11pm. The bar is open until 12am Sunday-Thursday and until close on Fridays and Saturdays. Happy hour is Sunday to Thursday 4-5pm. Assembly Rooftop Lounge is open for walk-ins based on availability. Parties of seven or less can make reservations here, with a cover charge of $10 per person. Larger parties of eight or more can also reserve one of Assembly’s pods for a food and beverage minimum. Pod reservations can be made by e-mailing info@assemblyrooftop.com.
