Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, part of AccorHotels, presents a month-long celebration for June as Philadelphia Gay Pride Month. The Sofitel Philadelphia raised a giant Philadelphia-version of the Gay Pride Flag to hang proudly outside the hotel on 17th Street to coincide with a month-long benefit to support the Mazzoni Center.
Back and bigger than ever, Sofitel Philadelphia and Brittany Lynn’s Drag Mafia Present Sofitel’s Pride Drag Tea featuring the Sofitel famous tea-service with an entertaining and drag twist. This year look for performances on Saturdays, June 8 and June 15, 2024 at 2:00pm. A portion of proceeds from the Drag Tea will go to support Mazzoni Center.
New this year, Sofitel will host Philly’s largest LGBTQ monthly happy hour pop-up Our Night Out at the brand new Liberte Lounge on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Sofitel also presents Pride in the Park with new Pride Month closing event Sofitel en Rose on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Look for a new spin on a time-honored tradition. Sofitel, famous for its classic afternoon tea service, will debut a new Drag Tea featuring Brittany Lynn’s Drag Mafia. Sip tea (or spill it) in the presence of fabulous Drag Queens as you enjoy delicious offerings from Sofitel’s award-winning culinary team. Drag Tea starts each week at 2:00pm and runs through 4:00pm inside Chez Colette Brasserie.
Come ready to be entertained as you enjoy classics, like scones, tea sandwiches, pastries and Palais Des Thes (selection of nine different teas for you to choose) – plus your choice of a Champagne, Mimosa or Bellini.

Pride Drag Tea on Saturday, June 8th is hosted by Brittany Lynn – who has been entertaining audiences for over 25 years! Brittany is the “Don” of Philly’s Drag Mafia (Phillydragmafia.com) and has performed all across the country at casinos, nightclubs, concert venues, and more! Brittany is the creator of the Drag Queen Story Time program for Philly’s schools, parks, and museums-having published two children’s books of her own, “The Adventures of Miss Kitty Popcorn & Cheese” and it’s sequel, “The FURther Adventures of Miss Kitty Popcorn & Cheese.” Brittany and her Drag Mafia are the most award-winning drag troupe around-not only for their shows, but for their work with multiple charities on various platforms. The Philly Drag Mafia has won Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly 2022 & 2023 for Best Drag Shows and Brunches! Additional performers for June 8th include Athena Chanteuse, Lisa Lisa and Morgan Wells.
