As the summer season approaches, Memories in Margate is thrilled to announce its official grand opening on Memorial Day Weekend. With a fresh new look and exciting additions, Memories is set to become the premier destination for locals and visitors alike to create unforgettable memories down the shore. On Thursday, May 23rd, join Mayor Michael Collins, Owner Teddy Sourias, and Margate Commissioner Cathy Horn for a grand reopening and ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. in front of Memories on 9518 Amherst Ave.

Nestled in the heart of Margate, Memories has undergone exciting indoor renovations to enhance the guest experience. From updated decor to improved amenities, the revitalized layout promises to bring a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for patrons. Among the new features are craft cocktails and unique beers, a new menu, a new LED wall, a new sound system, a Jerry Blavat tribute area, and more seating for a sit down dinner.

One of the most anticipated features of Memories’ transformation is the addition of a custom-built outdoor Tiki Bar. The Tiki Bar offers a relaxed and tropical ambiance where guests can sip on refreshing frozen cocktails and crushes, unwind with friends, and soak in the coastal breeze. With its laid-back vibe, The Memories Tiki Bar is sure to become a favorite spot for summer fun.

“We are thrilled to unveil the new Memories in Margate just in time for Memorial Day Weekend,” said Owner, Teddy Sourias at Memories. “Our team has worked tirelessly to create an inviting space where guests can come together to celebrate life’s special occasions. Whether you’re enjoying a drink at the newly built Tiki Bar, enjoying mussels and linguini from our new menu, or dancing the night away, we promise an unforgettable experience. The goal here is to have something for everyone, from kids wanting chicken fingers and french fries to having a full dinner and cocktails for their parents, to the Geator Gold that has made this place what it is today.”

In addition to the exciting renovations and outdoor Tiki Bar, Memories will now be open 7 days a week, offering a lineup of talented DJs, live music performances, and themed events throughout the weekend, including acoustic music and live bands alongside beloved Memories resident DJs, David Joel Stephens and Eric Bartello.
