Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. is proud to announce the return of its annual Green Carpet Gala, taking place on Thursday, May 16th at Tendenza. This highly anticipated event serves as a beacon of hope and support for the mental health community, bringing together Philadelphia’s philanthropic young professionals for an unforgettable evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds for teen mental health initiatives.
Attendees will enjoy an evening of delicious food and drinks by Cescaphe, live music by DJ Ben Arsenal, and a fashion show by Bravado. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase limited edition green goodies, created by King Saladeen, and participate in a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting the foundation.
“Mental health is a critical component of children’s overall well-being, influencing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors,” explained Natalie Foglietta, the organization’s Executive Director. “Unfortunately, the prevalence of anxiety and depression among teens and adolescents has surged in recent years, and our continued mission has been to make our teens aware of their resources and support options.”
The Green Carpet Gala aims to address these pressing concerns by rallying support for Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. ‘s educational programming and workshops, which provide vital resources for teens and adolescents across the Greater Philadelphia area. Funds raised from this event will contribute to initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental illness, providing essential mental health services to those in need, including accelerated evaluations for individuals facing financial constraints.
