Harrah’s Philadelphia, in partnership with KISS 101.7, 2SP Brewing Company, The Boss With The Sauce, and Harrah’s Backyard, invites you to join Delaware County’s largest Derby Day Watch Party at the Racetrack. Starting at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 4, attendees can enjoy a variety of buffet-styled foods at the Market Express, featuring Derby Day favorites such as hot dogs, pulled-pork sandwiches and ready-to-drink beverages. All-day music entertainment will be provided by KISS 101.7, with yard games available to all in the Beer Garden.
At 4:00pm there will be a Hot Dog Eating Contest where 10 lucky contestants will receive 6 hot dogs to finish first. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best hats and sign-up for the Derby Hat Contest starting at 5:30. A player card is required to sign up for the Hat Contest. Winners of both competitions will receive a $100 food voucher.
The VIP Experience is available for purchase and includes a VIP Party from 5:30-7:30pm, a Cigar Roller, buffet, and the featured specialty cocktail, the Mint Julep & Oaks Lily. Harrah’s members can ‘Choose a Horse’ during the Derby race for a chance to win a Reward Credit Multiplier, and a $5,000 worth Derby Hot Seat Drawing will be happening throughout the day.
Philly Tap & Tavern, as well as casino beverages, will be open and operating at their usual times.
