Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) proudly presents the return of its annual Philly Pheast benefit, an evening of culinary excellence and giving back to the next generation of chef-driven and culinary-minded individuals, slated for Monday, April 29 from 6 – 9pm at The Pyramid Club. C-CAP is a national workforce development nonprofit organization that teaches culinary, life and job skills to more than 22,000 students in eight locations across the country with the Philadelphia region’s C-CAP outlet working with 22 high schools and 1,800 students in Camden, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

Philly Pheast is designed to engage acclaimed local chefs and alumni with current C-CAP students at various Philadelphia and surrounding suburban schools for one-night-only by working together on a menu of carefully curated hors d’oeuvres, followed by a multi-course dinner, and scholarships awards ceremony. This year, Philly Pheast kicks off on April 29 at The Pyramid Club (1735 Market Street) with cocktail hour at 6pm featuring live music by the String Theory Choir and Quartet. A bevy of passed hors d’oeuvres will be presented by an alumni chef who has been paired with a C-CAP student from their alma mater high school to conceptualize and execute this exclusive menu for the evening.

  • Jacob Trinh – Little Fish BYOB
  •  Iziah King – Dobbins High School
  • Jamie Fahy – Elwood
  • Ben Grady – Sweet Amelia’s
  •  Jimmy Mathis – Honeysuckle Provisions
