Suplex Vintage Wrestling is throwing an all day, all ages, outdoor block party on South Street to celebrate the arrival of WrestleMania 40. Head to the 600 block of South Street on Saturday, April 6th, from 11:00am to 6:00pm, for an unforgettable celebration that will feature a full scale wrestling ring in the middle of the street, live matches with professional wrestlers under the blue skies, photo opportunities with wrestling memorabilia and special guests, delicious food and drink, food trucks, dancing, music and more.
Brauhaus Schmitz will host an outdoor Biergarten with beer from Stone Cold Austin, as well as The People’s Margarita made with Dwayne Johnson’s Teramana Tequila, plus other cold beverages. Famed hip hop artist and wrestling enthusiast Westside Gunn will be in attendance selling apparel from his “4th Rope” pop-up shop. Attendees can expect a knock-out celebration for wrestling fans of all ages. There is no charge to attend the event. Food, drink and merchandise will be pay-as-you-go. The SuplexMania Block Party will take place on Saturday, April 6th, to time with the arrival of WrestleMania 40. Suplex Owners Chris Kindig and Mike Molino have planned a knock-out outdoor block party for wrestling fans of all ages. This event is free to attend and the perfect opportunity to pre-game the “SOLD OUT” main event taking place Saturday and Sunday evenings at Lincoln Financial Field. For wrestling fans, the South Street block party will be a win-win as neighbors, locals and visitors get to be part of the amazing energy that will electrify Philadelphia next weekend.

Co-owners Mike Molino and Chris Kindig have been well known names along the South Street business corridor for over a decade. They first opened Suplex Sneakers near 5th and South over 10 years ago. They later went on to open Suplex Sports Cards on Bainbridge, and then Suplex Vintage Wrestling in 2022. Suplex Vintage Wrestling then moved to its current home at 628 South Street in 2023.
