March marks a groundbreaking milestone as Kids at Play expands its commitment to encouraging the holistic development of children by introducing Autism Diagnoses to its list of therapy services. Known for their dedication to the well-being of young minds, Kids at Play Philadelphia now proudly integrates mental health programs, several therapy services (PT, OT, ABA), open play, and more at their location and invite the community to join them on March 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for a Mental Health and Autism Diagnosis Open House. With an innovative approach and a passion for creating positive impacts, Kids at Play is set to transform the support system available to children and families in the heart of Philadelphia.

Kids at Play Philadelphia offers specialized services catering to diverse needs, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, Physical therapy (PT), and occupational therapy (OT). Knowing there was much more to offer the community regarding children’s therapy, the Kids at Play team began the year strong by introducing two much-needed programs. Kids at Play welcomed several licensed mental health professionals to the team, collaborating with families to provide tailored support for social, emotional, and behavioral needs and employing therapeutic modalities such as talk therapy, play therapy, family sessions, and group work. With Autism Diagnoses being extremely hard for families in the Philadelphia area to secure, Kids at Play began offering autism diagnoses facilitated by experienced child psychiatrists and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).

Kids at Play welcomes families from Greater Philadelphia to experience a dynamic and inclusive play space for children’s growth and well-being. Whether parents are looking for a safe indoor environment for their kids to play or are seeking specialized therapy services, Kids at Play caters to diverse needs. The facility accepts various types of insurance, ensuring families can access their children’s services without additional stress. Open from Sunday to Friday, Kids at Play invites families to explore the benefits of open playtime, fostering a sense of community and engagement for children while providing a valuable resource for parents to pursue comprehensive child development.

“At Kids at Play Philadelphia, we believe in creating an inclusive space for families across the Greater Philadelphia area. Whether parents seek a safe and engaging indoor space for their kids to play or seek specialized therapy services covered by various types of insurance, our commitment is to provide comprehensive care for every child’s unique needs. From our extensive therapy options to open play opportunities, we’re here to redefine the landscape of child well-being and development,” said Julia Bookbinder, Clinical Director of Kids at Play Philadelphia.

With an array of services ranging from open playtime to specialized therapies, including mental health support and autism diagnoses, Kids at Play is dedicated to nurturing the holistic development of every child. Kids at Play works actively to be at the forefront of child-centered care in Philadelphia, ensuring that every child and parent is cared for. These multifaceted approaches allow Kids at Play to address each child’s unique requirements, creating a supportive environment for growth. To learn more about the services offered, families are invited to meet the Kids at Play team at their Mental Health and Autism Diagnosis Open House on March 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Following the informative session, all are welcome to enjoy open playtime.
