Celebrate National Margarita Day With Specials in Philly and the Suburbs

Philadelphia and Suburban restaurants and bars will celebrate the region’s love of margs with National Margarita Day on Thursday, February 22, 2024. From classic to flavored, on the rocks to frozen, from salt rims to sugar, and everything in between, area restaurants will roll out specials and features all day with everything from $20 pitchers, special flavors, marg flights, unique flavors, food features and happy hours.

Al Pastor
560 Wellington Square, Exton
Celebrate National Margarita Day in the Philly Western Suburbs at Al Pastor with $20 pitches all day long from open to close, at the bar and bar lounge/high tops. All flavors including Traditional Lime, Al Pastor, Strawberry, Mango, Blood Orange, Cucumber Jalapeno, Pomegranate and Passionfruit. From 4-6pm, enjoy National Margarita Day Happy Hour with food pairings and specials, like Chip and Salsa $3, Chips and Queso $7, Chips and Guac $9, Dragon Tots $7, Nacho Baby $8, Fried Crispy Wings $7 and Happy Quesadillas $6. Añejo Philly, located in the Northern Liberties Restaurant Row, celebrates National Margarita Day with a special National Margarita Day Happy Hour from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with an expanded pitcher selection that are all half off – including Blanco, Anejo, Mezcal and Jalapeno – plus $5 tacos (Chicken Al Pastor, Cauliflower, Pork Carnitas and Crispy Fish), and discounted Birria Nachos, Elote, Nachos, Carnitas Fries, Chicken Empanadas, Guacamole and more. Celebrate National Margarita Day at Chef Jose Garces’ Baja-inspired taqueria Buena Onda with a special Margarita Day ALL DAY features Prickly Pear Mango Margarita with spiced sugar chili rim for only $8.50, plus Margarita Quesadilla for $6 with cheese, salsa, basic with a side of sour cream and chicken tacos only $3.00. During Margarita Day Happy Hour, 4:00pm to 6:00pm, enjoy 1/2 priced margaritas, $1 chips and salsa and $3 fish tacos. Happy Hour margs will include Classic, Baja, Frozen and Seasonal Frozen, with flavors that include Guava, Mango, Pineapple, Prickly Pear, Strawberry and Watermelon.

Northern Liberties’ hot spot El Camino Real will offer half priced margaritas from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with $6.50 16 ounce ritas and $24 pitchers, plus $5 nachos, sliders and quesadillas. During the day, look for Hornitos drink specials and giveaways, plus all day specials $8 frozen swirled margaritas in Strawberry and Pina Colada, Pineapple and Maui Wowwie, and Hibiscus and Daiquiri. And by POPULAR demand – special margaritas made in fresh pineapples for only $15!

West Chester’s favorite spaghetti western, unground dive bar will offer Margarita Boots for $15 all dang night. Yee-haw!

Goat’s Beard in Manayunk will feature their special 30 Day Strawberry Marg – where they soak whole strawberries in tequila for 30 days, blend them up, shake them with fresh squeezed lime juice and agave syrup, and serve them in tulip glasses with a lime wedge (salt or sugar rim optional).

Philadelphia’s charming vintage Eurobar Grace and Proper celebrates National Margarita Day with a well-made classic. From 4:00pm to Midnight, open to close, Grace and Proper will offer “If It Ain’t Broke” a classic craft margarita using 100% blue weber agave for only $8. Beverage Director Scott Rodrigue said, “We want to offer a classic well-made margarita for our discerning patrons – and ensure quality instead of focusing on discounting.”

La Roca
