Heyday Rittenhouse is combining self-care and cultural celebration this February to honor Black History Month with several pop-up events that will partner with local Black-owned businesses to foster a space for diversity and economic empowerment. Mount Airy Candle Co.A LittleMental/AroDough, and Stoop + Stank are just a few of the amazing Black-owned businesses that can be found in Philadelphia, and Heyday Skincare is proud to be hosting them at their Rittenhouse location for a day of self-care and shopping. Heyday hopes that by recognizing these entrepreneurs and their businesses, they can create a space where individuals from all backgrounds can come together to celebrate unity, self-love, and appreciation for the beauty of every ethnicity.

Whether you’re a fan of making candles, keeping up with fashion trends, or finding new ways to practice self-care, Heyday, and their event partners have prepared the ultimate one-stop shop for all your self-care and shopping needs that will start on Saturday, February 17, 2024, and continue until Saturday, March 2, 2024:

  • Mount Airy Candle Co.: Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Mount Airy Candle Co. began with the decision to make handmade gifts for loved ones during the holidays of 2018. Since 2019, they have expanded upon this intention by sharing their love of candle making with their customers through ‘hand-poured and uniquely scented’ candles!
      • Mount Airy Candle Co. will feature and sell several of their most popular candle fragrances throughout the day until supplies last!
  • A Little Mental/AroDoughSaturday, February 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Morgan Reid is a Philadelphia-based mental health professional and operations specialist. She started A Little Mental because she found peace by helping people help themselves, and through that, she founded AroDough. AroDough is a portable self-care product that combines the benefits of aromatherapy, fidget toys, and mindfulness.
      • AroDough will be selling its signature scent, Aromatherapy Dough, which includes Creamsicle, Spearmint, and Lavender.

      • Stoop + Stank will sell several of their most popular tee-shirt designs until supplies last.
