The Red Rūm Theater is Transforming Into an Immersive Adult-Only Cabaret Theater This February

A thrilling blend of mystery, mayhem, and mesmerizing cabaret performance all under the roof of Philadelphia’s only murder mystery venue, the Red Rūm Theater. Following their one-year anniversary celebration in January, Without A Cue Productions has decided to present something completely different from their traditional murder mystery performances! They’ve produced and crafted their own Freaky Friday series. These exclusive 18+, adult-only, interactive cabaret-style performances are set to kick off on February 2, 2024.

Freaky Fridays will be held at the Red Rūm Theater – 601 Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA 19106 – starting with four live shows, and then continuing indefinitely into 2024 with a variety of productions. Each show is different, and ranges from everything from burlesque to bingo, to belly dancers and so much more. Red Rūm’s Freaky Friday series promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind journey into immersive entertainment, inviting guests to explore a trail of uniqueness and intrigue!

Upcoming performances include:

• The first performance of the Freaky Friday series consists of Burlesque Bingo, which will be performed on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 8 p.m. Between each round of bingo, guests will be able to enjoy a performance by one of Envoute Entertainment‘s saucy burlesque performers. Burlesque Bingo will return on Friday, April 5, 2024 for a second performance. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here
• On February 16, 2024, Envoute Entertainment is also presenting the second Freaky Fridays performance, Nugent’s Follies at 8 p.m. Nugent’s Follies is a sensational vaudevillian extravaganza featuring a dynamic live band where audience members can transport themselves into the dazzling entertainment era of 1920s Philadelphia, reminiscent of the Trocadero’s golden days. • The Freaky Friday series is also bringing back a Red Rūm Theater fan-favorite, Dirty Potter! Dirty Potter Show and Quizzo hits the stage on Friday, February 23 at 8 p.m, and will continue every third Friday of each month in 2024. Guests will interact with familiar characters as their drama unfolds. Between scenes they’ll be quizzed on their wizarding world knowledge, competing with other players for the grand prize! • Finally, Red Rūm Theater is proud to once again present: It’s Not Personal, It’s Drag! on March 8, April 12, May 10, and June 7. A star studded cast of local drag performers hosted and produced by Meg Cutting and Dominique Lee are bringing the hottest drag show to Old City, Philadelphia for a Drag Brunch at night! Aside from Freaky Fridays, Without A Cue Productions has an exciting lineup of live shows and performances throughout 2024. Currently captivating audiences, “Murder At The Perk” is a must-see experience available until February 25, 2024.  Following this, “Cheers to Murder” will take the stage from March 2 to April 28, 2024 promising another riveting production.
